Invitation to the Fundraising Cocktail

| |

The Board of Directors of the Jacques de Champlain Foundation is pleased to invite you to its first annual fundraising cocktail reception on May 9, from 5 to 8 p.m., at Écomusée du fier monde, in Montreal.

This special and inspiring evening will feature the talented comedian Robert Marien, who will talk about his experience as someone who survived a cardiac arrest with the help of an AED. This will be a unique opportunity to understand the impact of the Foundation’s actions.

We are also delighted to welcome key stakeholders from the healthcare community to discuss the need for automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in our communities.

Since 2009, the Foundation has been passionately committed to its mission of increasing the survival rate of cardiac arrest victims. The AED-Quebec mobile app, launched in 2015, currently lists nearly 7,000 defibrillators across Quebec. It’s a valuable resource for saving lives in the event of cardiac accidents!

Thanks to the financial support of the Quebec government, the Foundation has begun a campaign to deploy 1,000 new AEDs in public places, with the aim of strengthening our commitment to the ongoing development and accessibility of these devices.

A contribution of $200 is required to attend this event (a $150 tax receipt will be issued to participants).

If you are unable to attend, you can make a donation online.

RSVP before May 1, 2024 via this link.

We look forward to welcoming you and sharing this moment of commitment and solidarity with our cause.
