Every year in Quebec, thousands of people experience cardiac arrest outside of hospitals. Rapid access to an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) can make the difference between life and death.
The Access AED project aims to maximize the availability of defibrillators in public spaces across Quebec. As part of a government-supported initiative, we work to identify strategic locations where installing subsidized AEDs could save the most lives.
The Accès DEA program is currently closed. All 900 AEDs in the program have been distributed across Quebec, and we are awaiting confirmation of whether the program will be renewed.
