Every year in Quebec, thousands of people experience cardiac arrest outside of hospitals. Rapid access to an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) can make the difference between life and death.
The Access AED project aims to maximize the availability of defibrillators in public spaces across Quebec. As part of a government-supported initiative, we work to identify strategic locations where installing subsidized AEDs could save the most lives.
Due to the great success of the Access AED program and the high number of applications received across Quebec, we are no longer accepting new registrations at this time.
Application evaluation will begin in March. Once the review process is complete, each organization will be notified of the outcome and, if applicable, the next steps.

Does your organization want to obtain a defibrillator to protect its community?
Help us map the needs and prioritize installations where they are most urgently required.
Let’s create a network of defibrillators accessible to all Quebecers.
